Carl Leopold, founding president of the Finger Lakes Land Trust and noted conservationist and scientist, passed away on November 18, 2009 at the age of 89. We remember him not only as our founding president, but also as a warm and welcoming man whose passion for the environment inspired many. The public is invited to a memorial service at the Unitarian Church of Ithaca on Sunday, December 13, 2009 at 2:00 PM. For a full obituary click here .
