30 Years of Conservation in the Finger Lakes!

The Finger Lakes Land Trust is celebrating our 30th Anniversary throughout the year 2019!  We will be hosting free public events around the region, sharing conservation successes, and looking ahead to new protection projects.  Please help us appreciate nature in the Finger Lakes – and save more land and water!

30th Anniversary Hikes

In celebration of its 30th anniversary, the Land Trust is hosting 10 hikes led by knowledgeable staff covering a total of 30 miles.  Join us for one event, or attend them all and hike 30 miles for 30 years!  You can also complete the hike series on your own.  Hikers who complete the 30 miles will receive a special gift from the Land Trust.

June 1:  Hinchcliff Family Preserve (Spafford, NY)

June 29:  Steege Nature Preserve (Big Flats, NY)

July 13:  Bishop Nature Preserve (Fayette, NY)

July 20:  Grimes Glen County Park (Naples, NY)

August 3:  Roy H. Park Preserve (Dryden, NY)

August 17:  Logan Hill Nature Preserve (Candor, NY)

September 14:  Houghton Land Preserve (Corning, NY)

September 21:  Lindsay-Parsons Biodiversity Preserve (W. Danby, NY)

October 5:  Wesley Hill Nature Preserve (Richmond, NY)

October 12:  Sweedler & Thayer Preserves (Ithaca, NY)
