Description

Please join us to help dismantle a small bunkhouse and sort the materials to be properly disposed of. Removal of the piles will occur at a later date. We will be working near the shoreline, so please be forewarned of a steep uphill climb to return to the parking area.

A work session will be held from 2:00-4:30 pm, followed by a social hour from 4:30-5:30 – light refreshments and snacks will be provided!  Please wear sturdy footwear, and clothes that you do not mind getting dirty.  We will provide tools and work gloves, but feel free to bring your own if you have a favorite pair.

Directions

From Skaneateles, turn east onto U.S. Route 20 and follow for approx. half a mile to turn right onto New York State Route 41 south. Take Route 41 for 5.5 miles and turn left onto Eibert Road/New York State Route 174 east in the hamlet of Borodino. After 2 miles, turn right onto Willowdale Road. Continue south on Willowdale Road for approx. 3 miles to the preserve entrance on your left.
