Each year, the Finger Lakes Land Trust issues a limited number of deer hunting permits on select nature preserves. These preserves are well-marked with signs alerting visitors to trail closures and safety guidelines. For more information, visit the specific web page for each nature preserve. Public use policies will be listed at the bottom of each page.

Please be advised that hunting may be occurring on nearby properties not owned by FLLT.  We encourage every outdoor enthusiast to wear blaze orange, pink, or another bright color, especially during fall and winter. Doing so will allow you to be seen more easily and from greater distances. Learn more about hiker safety during hunting season.
