Description

Join staff and volunteers on the first Friday of every month from May through November for FLLT nature preserve stewardship activities and socializing. If you are looking for a good reason to take off a half-day on a Friday, this is it! Work sessions will be held from 2:00-4:30 pm, followed by a social hour from 4:30-5:30. Tools, work gloves, light refreshments, and snacks will be provided.

The Parker Preserve is located near Birdseye Hollow State Forest and contains an interesting mix of habitat types on a former farmstead. FLLT just recently installed a new parking area, and your help is needed to trim trails, clear downed logs, and install a new road sign.

Directions

From Bath, take Rt. 415 south and turn left onto Telegraph Road. Continue on Telegraph Road for 4.2 miles to the intersection with Vielie Rd. Make a left on Vielie, park on the left shoulder of the road, preserve is on your left.
