DESCRIPTION

Join us for a sneak peek of the Sims-Jennigs Preserve, a magnificent property that the Finger Lakes Land Trust is preparing for public access. Help is needed to install a brand-new trail system that will feature scenic vistas. The first phase of this project will involve building a hiking trail by cutting downed logs and limbs, clearing tread, and removing brush and limbs.

Trail-clearing tools, work gloves, hand saws, and loppers will be provided. FLLT staff will run chainsaws and any power equipment that is required.

Please note the terrain is rugged in areas of the preserve. Appropriate clothing and sturdy boots or hiking shoes are recommended. Please no open-toed shoes.

DIRECTIONS

Directions will be provided upon registration. There is no formal parking area yet.
