DESCRIPTION

The Finger Lakes Land Trust recently added a scenic 7-acre parcel to its Tapan Mitra Nature Preserve in Ithaca, which borders more than 2,000 acres of previously protected lands including Robert H. Treman State Park. Since acquiring the property, the FLLT has completed several public access projects including an improved parking area and informational kiosk. Join us to celebrate the protection of this key parcel which provides access to miles of hiking trails via a popular trailhead for the Finger Lakes Trail.  Light refreshments will be served.

DIRECTIONS

From downtown Ithaca, follow NYS Route 13/34/96 south for approximately three miles, following signs for Spencer. Immediately after the overpass, turn left. At the stop sign, turn left and after approximately 400 feet, turn right into the parking lot.
