An Amazing Chance to Protect Six Mile Creek!

This spring, we are acting on a rare chance to buy land that buffers 12,000 feet of shoreline along Six Mile Creek and its tributaries upstream of Ithaca.  Six Mile Creek is beautiful in all seasons, treasured for recreation, and vital as the source of drinking water for thousands who live and work in the City of Ithaca.  Together we can protect it forever.  See the Story

The Birds Are Calling. Join us for Spring Bird Quest!

Join us this Memorial Day weekend, May 28-30, for Spring Bird Quest to celebrate birds and bird diversity. Come experience the stunning diversity of breeding birds while also raising funds to protect critical bird habitat! Love Your Land?  Learn How to Protect It in These Free Conservation Workshops.

The Land Trust is partnering with several organizations throughout the region to offer free public conservation workshops for private landowners. Workshops will be held in Schuyler, Seneca, Cortland and Ontario counties in May and June. Learn about the various tools available for protecting your land and water! Learn more.

Become a Trailblazer and Build a New Hiking Trail!
