Students ages 8-12 are invited to explore science, technology, engineering, art and math through a lively discussion of “The Wolf Keepers” by Elise Broach. “The Wolf Keepers” follows Lizzie Durango, a 12-year-old who lives at a zoo and spends her days chronicling the behavior of zoo animals. With the help of runaway, Tyler Briggs, Lizzie launches an investigation into the sudden deaths of resident wolves and discovers a world of adventure and friendship.
Jason Gorman, nature preserve manager for the Finger Lakes Land Trust, will be available to answer questions about preservation and natural area advocacy.
