Description
Join Sarah Fiorello, Interpretation Coordinator for Cornell Botanic Gardens, for an exploration of what lives under the rocks and in the streambed of Lick Brook at the Thayer Preserve. We’ll learn a little about stream health and see what else we can find on the preserve. Be sure to wear shoes you don’t mind getting wet. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Don’t forget water and snacks!
Directions
From Ithaca follow Rt. 13 south to just past Buttermilk Falls State Park. Turn left on Sandbank Road. At Y intersection bear right on Town Line Road. Park immediately on right side of the road (before the bridge). Thayer Preserve is to the left.
