DESCRIPTION

One of the Finger Lakes Land Trust’s largest conservation areas, the Wesley Hill Preserve provides excellent examples of the area’s ecological systems including diverse stands of mature forest and a wide array of wildflowers. Learn how to identify some of our native plants and trees and what makes them ecologically unique with Cody Wilkes, Forester in the Conservation Department at Finger Lakes Community College, and Megan Aubertine-Wilkes, Wetland Ecologist.

DIRECTIONS

Please note! The original meeting spot has changed from Wesley Road to the main parking area on Gulick Road!

From Honeoye, take Rt. 20A east to East Lake Road. Follow East Lake Rd. south for a short distance and then turn left on County Rd. 33. Continue a short distance and turn right on Pinewood Hill Rd. Follow Pinewood Hill, then Gulick Road south toward Cumming Nature Center, for a total of 6.4 miles to preserve entrance, on right.
