Why did you choose to conserve your land?  What motivated you?

We knew about the work of the Finger Lakes Land Trust and admired what they do, and wanted to protect our land as well.

How did you conserve your land?

We worked with the Land Trust to place a conservation easement on our property.

What makes your land so special to you?

There are so many different parts of this piece of land:  the wetland, the creek, the meadows, and the forest — all of them are beautiful in different ways, with so much life in them.

Anything else you would like to add?

We are very happy with the conservation easement, and have been recommending it to our friends and neighbors.  We feel like we can rest easy knowing that this beautiful land is protected from development, and that people can enjoy it in the future.
