What is your volunteer role at the Finger Lakes Land Trust?  What kinds of work do you do here?

I am the Volunteer Land Steward for Steege Hill Nature Preserve.  I maintain 7.3 miles of trails, mow meadows, clear brush, pickup garbage, lead hikes.

How long have you been involved as a volunteer?

Since 2001.

Why do you volunteer?

Preserve nature for the next generation.

What’s your favorite FLLT activity and/or preserve?  Why?

Steege Hill, adjoining my back yard.  Diversity, you name it, we have it on Steege Hill.
