Why are you a member?
One of the primary reasons I choose to live in the Finger Lakes Region is because of its natural beauty. I believe our parks, forests, gorges, waterfalls and lakes are a defining characteristic of what makes this area of the country so amazing, and even a destination for many.
I choose to support FLLT because I see the extreme importance in preserving these lands and habitats for years to come.
How long have you been a member of FLLT?
Member since 2012.
What’s your favorite FLLT activity and/or preserve, and why?
To stay true to my name, my favorite preserve has to be the Lindsay-Parsons Biodiversity Preserve. I love checking in on the work of the beavers in the pond you’ll find within the preserve. Name aside, one of my favorite go-to hikes in our area is Lick Brook. It’s so close to town, and such a hidden gem. And is such a lovely and enjoyable walk any time of the year.
